Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026
Crowdtells (“we”, “us”) is a free news service that reads prediction markets and the press
together. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. We keep data collection
to the minimum needed to run the site.
What we collect
-
Account info — if you sign in (Google or email), we store your email and,
for Google, your display name and avatar URL, to attribute your comments. We never see your
Google password.
-
Your contributions — comments and likes you post, with their timestamps.
-
Local preferences — your theme and followed topics are stored only in your
browser (localStorage); they never leave your device.
We do not sell your data, and we do not run advertising trackers.
Service providers
We rely on a small set of providers to operate:
-
Supabase — authentication and the database storing accounts and comments.
- Google — optional sign-in (Google OAuth).
- GitHub Pages — static site hosting.
-
Polymarket, Kalshi, Google News, Groq — public market data, news headlines,
and AI-generated briefings. These power the content; they do not receive your personal data.
Your choices & rights
- You can delete any comment you’ve posted.
-
You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us; we’ll remove
your profile, comments, and likes.
- You can clear local preferences anytime by clearing your browser storage.
